Building & Running a Cattery

Building and starting your own cattery can be a very daunting prospect.

My husband & I have now built a very successful business, but it took hours and hours of research and there was many a time I felt like giving up because the right information and help just wasn't available.

Before even starting the process I took the Animal Care College Diploma in Kennel & Cattery Management and gained a pass with distinction, I also gained a pass with credit in the Animal Care College certificate in Feline First Aid.

I now get lots of people contacting me asking questions and feeling just as I did, so I have started offering a one day introduction into building a cattery from scratch, in order that people can see what is involved and decide whether this is really what they want to do before spending thousands and thousands of pounds.

I am able to go through all aspects of the process from what to look for in the right location/property, through planning, building, marketing and finally opening running of the business on a daily basis.

Courses are run on a Sunday from 10.00am to 6.00pm.
